I took charge of the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to execution. My responsibilities included crafting the logic for bulk auto layout adjustments, ensuring seamless integration with Figma's existing environment, and optimizing the plugin for enhanced user experience.
Efficiently handling projects involving complex components within a design system or making adjustments to files created by others or exported from different design tools to Figma poses a significant time-consuming challenge. The absence of streamlined solutions for such tasks prompted the creation of the Auto Layout plugin—an initiative born out of the need to alleviate the burdensome nature of these repetitive processes and contribute to heightened efficiency in design workflows.
